The following steps cover two methods in transferring your data from ShareFile Sync to Citrix Files for Mac.

Migrating options
There are two ways to transfer data from ShareFile Sync to Citrix Files for Mac.- Migrate - Data in your ShareFile Sync folder is moved over to Citrix Files for Mac. ShareFile Sync is uninstalled from your Mac automatically once this is completed.
- Copy - Data from your ShareFile Sync folder is copied over to Citrix Files for Mac, but not removed. The ShareFile Sync application is removed. It may be reinstalled and will not need to be reconfigured.
In ShareFile Sync, the ShareFile folder can be selected in the preferences. In Citrix Files for Mac, this data folder can also be configured in the preferences.
Managing your data
Making additional folders available offline
- Go to Preferences.
- Select Manage under Offline Sync. Another option is to right click on the files or folders and mark them as offline.
- Select the folder for storage.
Files in your account will be available through the Citrix Files folder that acts as a drive in your computer. The app also maintains a local storage that is selected in Preferences under Storage Folder.
Quick Tip:
The new local storage folder selection feature: Storage Folder
Recently accessed files and files made available offline are stored in a cache folder for fast access. In most cases, there is no need to change this location. Some users with hard drive partitions may wish to store cache data on another partition. You may change the folder where the cache is stored by clicking storage folder.

Sync individual files
You may right click on a file and make it available offline. Previously only folders could be marked as offline.
Approvals/Workflows
Right click on a file and initiate an approval.
Favorites
Right click on files to add or remove from Favorites.
Access file versions and file notes
Right click on a file and select View Details. From this menu you may access different versions of a file and add notes.
